Terms of service
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Sudwire Newsroom (“the service”), which is run by the company named on our Legal page (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you use the service for a company, you agree for that company.
What the service does
Sudwire Newsroom watches the official sources you choose, picks the stories that matter for your site and drafts articles from them. Drafts are delivered to your WordPress site through our plugin. Unless you turn on automatic publishing, nothing is published until a person at your site approves it.
Your account
Sign-in links go to your email address, so keep that inbox secure. You’re responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping your WordPress connection key private. Tell us at support@sudwire.com if you think someone else has access.
Free trial
Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial. A card is needed to start it. During the trial Sudwire writes up to 5 articles a day, only for a site whose WordPress plugin is connected. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the plan you chose starts and your card is charged. You can end the trial early from the Billing page to get the whole plan straight away. Each publisher, website and card can have one free trial.
Plans and payment
Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, at the price shown when you subscribe, plus any tax that applies. Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all our orders and handles payment, invoices and tax. Plan changes take effect straight away; the difference is charged or credited for the rest of the period. If a payment fails, we may pause writing for your sites until it’s fixed.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from the Billing page. Your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for and isn’t renewed. Refunds are covered by our Refund policy. Articles already delivered stay on your site.
Your content and your responsibility
- Articles delivered to your site are yours to use, edit and publish. We don’t claim any rights in them.
- You decide what’s published on your site and you’re responsible for it as its publisher. Check drafts against their linked source before publishing, especially where we flag a story as sensitive.
- Drafts are written by AI from public official sources and can contain mistakes. Where the law requires it (for example the EU AI Act), articles carry a note that AI was used; the plugin adds it, and only a named editor who checked an article can remove it.
- Don’t use the service to publish anything unlawful, misleading or that infringes others’ rights, and don’t try to get around plan limits, the free-trial rules or our security.
Sources
We read only public pages and feeds, and we follow robots.txt for article pages. Stories from other news outlets are shown to you as leads and are never rewritten. See how our crawler works.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or improve features. If we make a change to these terms that matters to you, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where we reasonably can.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. We aren’t liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or reputation. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, where we’re based. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protections of the country you live in.
